At Personal Touch LLC, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch in-home Companion services. Unlike nursing homes, our clients do not experience a loss of freedom or independence, and they remain in their dwelling. Instead of being confined to a small apartment-style space that in many cases resemble a hospital, Personal Touch LLC employees assist clients in their own home. In addition, they are within close proximity to family and are not subject to potential sub-quality care. All of the following are included within the Companion care services: meals preparation (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks), light housekeeping tasks transportation to/from appointments (medical, hair, nail, etc.), transportation to/from local community/recreational events, medication reminders, personal grooming (bathing, dressing). In comparison to an assisted-living facility, each service is paid separately. Another advantage of Companion Services is that the family and friends are in direct contact with the service provider, Personal Touch LLC. This is not provided to those who are living in an assisted living facility. With in-home Companion Care Services, family and friends are not restricted by visitation hours or common area dedicated solely for visitation. Lastly, all of the clients' needs are met.
